Loreto is a charming and historic seaside town in Mexico’s Baja California Sur. The Gulf and nearby islands are so integral to Loreto’s identity and desire to protect nature that the federal government designated the waters and nearby islands as the Loreto Marine Park which is now part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
